DENVER, May 10, 2014 – Denver-based software company insightsoftware.com launched their new Hubble® business performance management software during the keynote at an industry trade show in Las Vegas on April 7th in a somewhat untraditional manner. As one twitter follower put it: “Launching software with singing and dancing? Well, it is Vegas, baby.”

insightsoftware.com picked up 2 of the 5 marketing awards at the trade show: best overall marketing and most visionary booth design. Their efforts included a pre-show video campaign with a dancing British man in camo gear, a new cutting-edge product website and a fully customized booth design, all done by their in-house marketing team. “Our goal was to shake things up a bit,” said Hubble Product Marketing Manager Colleen Daigle. “It was successful because we have a product and a culture that supports it."

A key feature in their launch was a 4-minute video directed and produced by Jeffery Garland Photography, a Boulder-based video production company. The video was shot and produced locally, with all local talent in and around Denver and Boulder at locations like SendGrid, Made, DIA and the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center.

With no dialogue or marketing, the video shows off what would normally be boring enterprise software in the context of a story about a dad trying to get home to meet his daughter’s first date. “We wanted to create an emotionally engaging and visually stunning video that presents Hubble as something that makes life easier for real people, both at and outside of work,” said Layna Boyd, head of Digital Marketing for insightsoftware.com.

Overall, the launch produced record-breaking results and the brand continues to generate buzz. In addition to Hubble, insightsoftware.com also released solutions for PeopleSoft reporting and real-time budgeting and planning.
