Acquisition will triple insightsoftware.com’s addressable market and add new technology to increase business productivity
DENVER — October 4, 2016 — insightsoftware.com Inc., provider of Hubble solutions, today announced its acquisition of Antivia, a business intelligence (BI) software company and developer of the fast dashboard and information application creation solution, DecisionPoint™. This acquisition will expand insightsoftware.com’s market reach beyond the Oracle and JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ecosystem, which is currently served by the Hubble Corporate Performance Management (CPM) suite, and into the SAP ERP markets.
“We’ve developed a remarkable reporting, analytics, and planning solution for JD Edwards and Oracle E-Business Suite that continues to fuel profitable, organic growth,” said Alwyn Welch, chairman of insightsoftware.com. “To build on this success, we’re thrilled to take this next step with Antivia to expand the markets we address and enhance our product portfolio, while staying true to the tenets that give us the highest customer satisfaction in the industry.”
insightsoftware.com will leverage Antivia’s platform and expertise to accelerate its reach into the SAP ERP market, which will effectively triple its addressable market. The Antivia acquisition reinforces insightsoftware.com’s focus on providing a complete CPM suite with deep ERP integrations, allowing the company to better service the $3 billion CPM market segment of BI.
Antivia’s DecisionPoint™ and insightsoftware.com’s Hubble will remain two separate brands but will share technology to benefit both solutions. Antivia’s product and expertise will allow insightsoftware.com to better serve both SAP and Oracle ERP markets.
“We’re excited to become part of the insightsoftware.com family,” said Mark Hudson, CEO and founder of Antivia. “We’re looking forward to combining our technology and expertise in business intelligence to grow both customer bases and increase insightsoftware.com’s ability to provide comprehensive solutions for strategic CPM. I know that DecisionPoint™ has an exciting future as part of insightsoftware.com, where we’ll benefit from greater resources to accelerate product development to make it even easier to create and share information with front-line workers – which is great news for our customers, too.”
Antivia’s technology offers a fast time to value by enabling non-programmers to create and share sophisticated information applications, while its mobile capabilities include full offline interactivity to support the needs of a remote workforce. The frictionless experience in the DecisionPoint™ platform makes it easy for regular business users to get rapid answers to immediate and follow-up questions, fostering greater user engagement and adoption. insightsoftware.com will help Antivia capitalize on these capabilities by investing further in engineering and global sales.
